Normally anchored at the helm of Vancouver’s dining scene, award-winning Chef Hawksworth is planning a special four-course menu, paired with Okanagan wines, for the evening of Friday August 8.

“Being a part of food and wine festivals like this one at Silver Star Mountain Resort is a privilege and always a memorable experience,” says Chef David Hawksworth. “As a chef I feel very lucky to live in a part of the world that is so beautiful and supplies us with such excellent produce and none more so than here in the Okanagan.”

“This is the first time we have collaborated with a high-profile Chef like David,” said Jesse Crockett, Silver Star’s hospitality director. “This is a special opportunity for culinary enthusiasts to sample the delights of a famous Chef at a location other than his restaurant.”

Food and wine enthusiasts are invited to the Den Bar and Bistro to experience a symphony of flavours inspired by local, seasonal ingredients. Chef Hawksworth is working closely with Silver Star’s talented food and beverage professionals to execute an array of high-quality and delicious culinary masterpieces.

The evening of fine dining will commence with a reception at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are limited and cost $230 per person including gratuity, plus GST. Guests will receive $50 off the dinner ticket if purchasing accommodation and tickets together.
