In celebration of Community Living Month, Kelowna Community Development Society is excited to announce a new fundraising event – Dine for Diversabilities.

Diners can go out for a meal at a participating restaurant on Tuesday, October 29 and the restaurant will make a donation to support adults with diversabilities in the community.

“We’re grateful to the restaurants who have signed up to participate in this event; it demonstrates their commitment to being great corporate citizens who really care about our community,” says Ken Gauthier, president of Kelowna Community Development Society. “We hope people will go out and enjoy a meal, and celebrate Community Living Month and the many ways in which adults with diversabilities contribute to and are an important part of our community.

“All of the funds raised stay here in our community to provide enhanced programs and services that improve the quality of people’s lives.”
