Stunning musical line-up to appear at Mission Hill

The artists are larger than life, the venue is iconic and the concerts will be legendary: Mission Hill Family Estate is proud to announce the performers appearing this summer at the winery’s spectacular outdoor amphitheatre.

The live performances include multiple Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and social activist Michael Bolton on Friday, August 5; one of America’s favourite female singer-songwriters Melissa Etheridge on Friday, August 26; and the triumphant return of The Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes and Tonino Baliardo on Sunday, August 28.

With the creation of the Amphitheatre, proprietor Anthony von Mandl, O.B.C., a strong proponent of the arts, created a unique opportunity to enjoy live music performances in an unrivalled setting. Situated on a prominent hill rising above the Okanagan Valley with majestic mountains and a scenic lake creating the perfect backdrop, guests enjoy a gorgeous summer evening of music, wine and cuisine in a unique setting at one of Canada’s premiere outdoor concert venues.

“A concert performance under the open sky at our outdoor amphitheatre is a truly unforgettable experience,” says von Mandl. “There is something extraordinarily special about this intimate hilltop location; a wonderful outdoor concert experience reminiscent of the grand performances staged at Europe’s historic open-air Roman amphitheatres. We are thrilled to welcome these exceptional musical performers to the winery this summer.”

For artists who command much larger venues the small capacity amphitheatre provides a rare treat for those eager to engage with their fans on a more intimate level. Artists that have graced the stage at Mission Hill include: Tony Bennett, Chris Isaak, Lyle Lovett, Martina McBride and LeAnn Rimes.

The concerts are once again expected to sell out quickly as these outdoor live musical performances have become the hallmark of the summer in the Okanagan Valley. Tickets for the 2016 performances at Mission Hill’s intimate 1,200 seat outdoor Amphitheatre will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, April 27 at 10:00 am and are available at or by phone: 250-762-5050.
