We’re celebrating 25 years with a showcase of arts, culture and the Okanagan lifestyle. We’re excited to join Theatre Kelowna for a special production of A Sentimental Journey.
Written and directed by Kim Foreman, the 1940s Radio Show is a musical theatrical celebration of the Golden Age of Radio. When you enter the Black Box Theatre you will be part of the studio audience at a 1943 broadcast of Axel Starr’s Radio Hour. You’ll be treated to Andrews Sister’s style songs from the era accompanied by a live three piece band led by Sylvia Clerke. The show includes serial comedies and melodramas in the style of 1940s radio shows with real time sound effects.
Sing along to your favourite tunes and laugh at the old-time humour from those memorable and sentimental bygone days. The talented line-up includes Kim Foreman, Jeff Samin, Debby Helf, John Van Dyk, Robin Jarman, Karen Mason and Ashley Lewicki.
All seats $25.
