The Keloha Music & Arts Festival returns for its third year (July 11–13, 2014) to Kelowna’s Waterfront Park, where Wet Ape Productions will transform the area along Okanagan Lake into a tropical island oasis—complete with palm trees, tiki torches and the Lakeside Lounge beverage gardens—for three days of performances by some of the biggest names in indie, rock and alternative music.
Headlining acts will feature The Naked and Famous, Local Natives, and Canada’s newest rock success story, Monster Truck.
Also included in this year’s line-up is Sky Ferreira, Kongos, St. Lucia, The Mowgli’s, Terraplane Sun, Hey Ocean!, Blondfire, The Funk Hunters, Cayucas, ASTR, The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer, Jon and Roy and many more.
Keloha is more than just great music. An interactive artistic component titled Art Ave. is the festival’s creative hub which allows attendees of all ages to let loose their imaginations with activities like sandcastle building, drop-in yoga, chalk drawing, photobooth, crafts and more. The weekend also hosts a stellar multi-venue after party series, which will be announced on May 29.
With so many festivals taking place this summer in BC, Keloha is proud to offer one of the lowest prices in the province. Ticket pre-sale will begin at 10 am on Thursday, May 15 with 3-day General passes starting at only $99 and 3-day Platinum passes at $199. General on-sale will start at 10 am on Friday, May 16 with all ticket types available. Festival, ticket details and event info can be found at www.keloha.com.
