QHR_Tech_logoKelowna CEO Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of QHR Corporation, a leader in healthcare information ethnology was named Tech Executive of the Year at the 4th annual Cantech Letter Awards Dinner on January 16, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario.

The Cantech Letter Awards recognize the top Canadian TSX and TSX Venture technology companies and executives in the technology, clean technology and life sciences sectors. It is the ultimate showcase for Canadian technology development and investor opportunities.

“I think Al Hildebrandt is a very deserving winner of the 2013 TSXV Tech Executive of the Year,” said Nick Waddell, Founder and Editor of Cantech Letter. “Al has done a masterful job of balancing QHR’s strong growth with a clear long term vision. QHR’s current recurring revenue rate of more than 75% is just one example of his attention to detail.”

QHR was also recognized as one of the three finalists for the TSXV Technology Company of the Year.

The Cantech Letter Awards celebrate the very best in Canadian technology. The awards are chosen by a panel of Canada’s top technology analysts and the readers of Cantech Letter. Past winners include Avigilon, Catamaran Corp. and Glentel.

Hildebrandt joined the other Cantech award winners to ring the opening bell at the Toronto Stock Exchange the following morning on January 17.
