Every kid’s shopping dream is about to come true in The Village Centre at Big White Ski Resort, voted Best Family Resort by the readers of Okanagan Life Magazine. Loose Moose will cut the big red ribbon as The Loose Moose Emporium opens its doors for the first time this Saturday, December 21.
The Loose Moose Emporium is a shopping experience unlike any other at the resort. Children (and yes, adults too) can indulge their sweet tooth at Big White’s fantastic new candy bar. Offering a wide array of sweets this is sure to be a fun stop on your way back to the condo after a day on the slopes. The Loose Moose Emporium has an extensive selection of children’s clothing, outdoor gear and accessories that your tots and kids up to the age of twelve may need whilst enjoying Big White.
Did you know that Loose Moose has another half? Donald has Daisy and Mickey has Minnie and, drum roll please, Loose has Lucy. Lucy Moose is making her debut at The Loose Moose Emporium as Big White’s beloved mascot’s new girlfriend.
The Loose Moose Emporium is open daily, 9 am to 5 pm.
Terrain Park Season Opener Dec 21
Young riders will have the opportunity to showcase their talent this Saturday, December 21 at the TELUS Park event as the season kicks off with the first Rail Jam of the year at Big White Ski Resort.
Winners will take home cash and prizes, including goods from Big White’s favorite board shop, The Village Rider. This is sure to be an exciting day for the participants as well as the spectators.
Christmas Spirit Takes Over Big White Ski Resort
In cooperation with the Salvation Army, employees of Big White will be ringing the famous bells for the Christmas Kettle Program. Staff and volunteers are committed to raising funds for the Salvation Army in support of the communities program over the holiday season. The Christmas kettle will be stationed at The Village Centre Mall.
The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign is one of Canada’s largest and most recognizable annual charitable events. In addition to the critical fundraising impact of the Campaign, the Christmas kettles boost the Army’s visibility and awareness.
