Established in 1968, Mosaic Books has been an institution in downtown Kelowna for as long as most of us can remember. To mark their 46th year, the store is celebrating this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – November 21, 22 and 23.

The store has over 16,800 unique new book titles, 1,100 magazine titles, over 8,700 bargain book titles, and an array of greeting cards, puzzles, puppets and gift items. To mark the anniversary, Mosaic has put everything 20% off.

The Neill family have been proud operators of Mosaic since they moved to Kelowna and took over shop in 1995. Mosaic Books is a true family owned and operated business, with Michele and Michael, the owners, and their two kids, Trevor and Alicia, the managers, working side by side to create their vision of what a bookstore should be. “There are no corporate agendas or policies to dictate our vision, so what you get is an old fashioned, independent, no filler bookstore that is going strong and here for the long run, all thanks to the outstanding support of the lovely Okanagan – and beyond,” says Michael.

Over the years, the store has also ventured onto the online space and offers a massive catalogue of over 5 million individual titles.

Mosaic Books has been a multi-year award winner of Best Book Store in Okanagan Life‘s Best of the Okanagan awards. Okanagan Life magazine is found on their magazine racks.
