The first of eight advance voting opportunities in Kelowna begin on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Polls open Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way and run until 8 p.m.
“The City believes that providing electors in the City of Kelowna accessibility to voting includes offering a number of advance voting days and times,” says Chief Election Officer Karen Needham. “With eight advance voting opportunities over four days, as well as 13 polling stations open on Election Day, residents can choose the day, place and time to vote that works for them.”
Advance voting opportunities will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the following locations:

UBC Okanagan, 3272 University Way (University Centre)
Thursday, Nov. 13

Okanagan College, 1000 KLO Road (Centre for Learning Atrium)
Friday, Nov. 14
City Hall, 1435 Water Street
Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way
All voting locations are accessible to all electors; however, the City Hall polling station will once again feature a voter assist terminal which provides voters who may have difficulty marking a ballot the ability to do so privately and independently.
Residents of Kelowna for at least 30 days, who are 18 years or older, have lived in BC for at least six months and are Canadian citizens are eligible to vote. Voters need to bring two pieces of ID, at least one with a signature, to the polling station to prove residency and identity.
Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15. Residents will have 13 voting locations to choose from, including Orchard Park Shopping Centre open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. All other Election Day voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
