Kelowna goaltender Jackson Whistle joins Canucks Prospects Camp

The Vancouver Canucks announced the expected roster and schedule for their Prospects Training Camp and the Young Stars Classic Tournament starting Thursday, September 11 in Penticton, BC. Joining the young stars is Kelowna goaltender Jackson Whistle.

The Canucks Prospects Training Camp will begin Thursday, September 11 with a 2:30 p.m. practice on the Main rink at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) in Penticton, BC. All on-ice practice sessions/pre-game skates will be open to the public. Admission to practices at the South Okanagan Events Centre is complimentary.

A total of 27 players are scheduled to report to the SOEC on Thursday, September 11 for a practice prior to starting tournament play September 12th at 7:30 p.m. versus the Edmonton Oilers prospects.

Single game and double header tickets for the Young Stars Classic are currently available for purchase at www.ValleyFirstTix.com, by phone at 1-877-763-2849 or in person at the Valley First Box Office at the SOEC. Single game tickets are available for $15, double headers for $25 and a limited number of tournament packages (six games) are available at a cost of $60 plus applicable fees. Game dates, times and opponents may be subject to change.
