Kyle L. Poirier is a Kelowna-based artist, graphic designer, husband, and father of two. He works primarily in acrylic, playing with layers of colour underneath moody washes, using a palette that mixes earthy colours with jewel tones. His subject matter is diverse, but many of his paintings have a familiar, whimsical, illustrative quality. Kyle holds a BFA from UBC Okanagan and for over 15 years he has been working in Kelowna’s arts community as an artist and as the graphic designer for the Kelowna Art Gallery.
