To celebrate British Columbia’s second annual Family Day on Monday, February 10, Big White Ski Resort is offering 50% off lift tickets. All BC residents need to do is flash their photo ID at any Big White ticket window to receive the discount.
The team at Big White has something special planned for the weekend. On Saturday, February 8, they will be celebrating with a Family Day Outdoor Carnival in the Village Centre from 10 am – 2 pm. Big White’s mascot, the Loose Moose, will be handing out prizes as families compete at various games including ball toss and basketball. With popcorn, hot chocolate and cotton candy fuelling the action, there will be lots to do and win at Big White this BC Family Day.

February 7 is also the opening ceremony for the 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Big White will be showing the key events their big screens in the Village Centre Mall. Big White’s very own Kelsey Serwa will be going for gold in the women’s ski cross and there’ll be no better place to cheer her on than from her home slope.
They are also offering a special accommodation package, where guests get 50% off their third night and day of skiing, when they book two. The package is available February 7 to13, 2014 and guests must quote V0/1314 when booking.
