Kelowna Chamber will host Federal Candidates Forum

Kelowna Chamber will host a Federal Candidates Forum.

The forum will provide an opportunity to hear from candidates and also to submit questions to the candidates. Additionally, the candidates will have an opportunity to discuss their platforms and issues of interest. Participating candidates include:

  • Ron Cannan, Conservative Party candidate
  • Norah Bowman, NDP candidate
  • Stephen Fuhr, Liberal Party candidate

Candidates have been sent questions in advance of the forum and will be posting them as well as their responses on the Kelowna Chamber website homepage.

The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse any specific political candidates or parties. The role of the Kelowna Chamber is to familiarize members with the candidates in the upcoming election and to help clarify the issues to assist people in making an informed decision.

The forum will take place at the Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotels & Villas on September 25 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast and networking taking place in the first half-hour and the forum taking place for the remainder. Tickets must be purchased by 4 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
