Requirements for Materials Submitted for Production As your magazine advertising partner, Okanagan Life takes every step to ensure that the advertising you place in our magazines meets the highest professional standards. Marketing in today’s Okanagan business climate requires nothing less. To these ends, we need your help in maintaining these high standards. Please follow the material requirements below to make sure that your advertising experience with Okanagan Life is the best it can be. Email production@okanaganlife.com with any questions. (Note to our advertising partners: Materials we receive not meeting the following requirements may require work on our part to make them reproducable and will incur production charges.) Submissions of materials to our production department can be emailed to production@okanaganlife.com or uploaded to our FTP server. Please email or call us to receive the info needed for an FTP transfer. Please see below for the file types we will accept. We are an all-Macintosh office, and we use Adobe software, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to build all magazine ads. We will NOT accept ad files of the following types:

Please DO NOT use Pantone colors (or other spot colors) as anything designated as a spot color will have to be converted by us to CMYK and may not reproduce as intended. Avoid this by building all of your color as CMYK. NOTE: All ads MUST be sized exactly as per our dimensions. NOTE: We CANNOT accept Microsoft Word documents with pics embedded in them. Word documents are not picture files. JUST SAY NO TO MICROSOFT WORD! Digital LOGOS (includes logos sent to us via email, disk or FTP)
