Okanagan College celebrates 50 years Sept 27

Join Okanagan College to celebrate five decades of transformation and growth

Join the Okanagan College community at a public celebration on Friday, Sept. 27 as it marks 50 years of serving the region. The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Kelowna campus, 1000 KLO Road.

Since its opening in 1963 as the B.C. Vocational School to today, Okanagan College has consistently delivered quality education and exemplary service to tens of thousands of students, transforming lives and communities and helping build the cultural, social and economic fabric of the province. With over 53,000 graduates and counting, the contribution of the College is truly something to celebrate.

Meet and mingle with students, employees, community partners, friends and distinguished guests, including many people who have been honoured by the institution in the past. Browse 50 years of memorabilia curated from the institution’s proud past and taste offerings from the the College’s Culinary Arts students.
