Wineries of the Naramata Bench Wineries Association are circling their trucks and dropping their tailgates once again on September 7 for the Okanagan’s wine party of the season. The event will take place in the heart of Naramata Village at Manitou Beach and Park from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
It’s “Fish ‘n’ Sips” for this year’s festivities as the Naramata Picnic on the Beach that will showcase 24 wineries pouring a worthy selection of summer and fall wine releases. Chefs from Naramata Bench restaurants will create a fabulous menu of gourmet offerings featuring a wide selection of Ocean Wise seafood supplied through Codfathers Seafood Market. Enjoy creations from best restaurants The Vanilla Pod and Hillside Bistro as well as Bench Market, The Kitchen, The Pecking Room, Lake Breeze Patio and the Naramata Heritage Inn.

Peach City Radio, the local co-op radio will be broadcasting live and local on the site, playing retro beach and surf music while interacting with the crowd, winemakers and chefs.
The annual event offers a fabulous evening of wine, food, music, dancing and camaraderie as the sun sets over the lake.
Tickets are $89 and are now on sale. Buy tickets before July 31 and you will be entered into a draw to be reimbursed for up to two tickets. Free shuttle service to and from Penticton is sponsored by Westland Insurance.
